This is my first post in this blog, so this will pretty much be an introduction.
I am a gamer. Not just a gamer, but a G4/\/\3R. Video Games are fun but can become too fun, and can consume your entire life. Having a wife and two cats, I can't afford to spend my entire life playing them, but when I do play them, I enjoy them and PRAY I never go too far with them. (Yes, I am a Christian. :) )
So, I enjoy Mario Games. Actually, I enjoy pretty much any game that has Mario in it on any Nintendo system. Whether it be him practicing medicine, playing baseball, competing in the Olympics against Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, or jumping on turtles, pounding goombas, or saving his Princess from certain destruction on a REGULAR basis (Bowser and his 8 children: Larry, Roy, Lemmy, Wendy, Iggy, Morton, Larry, and Bowser Jr.). I also enjoy the Madden NFL Series. My favorite game of the series being Madden NFL '08. That is because Madden NFL '08 was what I heard to be the last game to be produced for the Nintendo Gamecube. While sad that the Gamecube had to end around the turn of the decade, it is still one of my favorite systems to play video games on.
I have owned mostly Nintendo systems with a couple of Playstation systems thrown in there. The systems are as follows: Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo Game Boy, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Game Boy COLOR,  Playstation, Nintendo Game Boy ADVANCE, Nintendo Gamecube, Nintendo Wii, PS2 Slim. My favorite Mario Game(s) for NES is a tie between Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3. I played Super Mario Bros. 2 as a little one, but not thrilled with the change of enemies and the fact there it's hard to beat anything on the game and the lack of score, I did not like the game as much as I liked 1 and 3, although I did enjoy getting so many lives in the game so easily. Favorite Mario Game(s) for the 64 are Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 and Mario Tennis. Super Mario 64 was a BIG deal when I first got this game. You got to explore many lands including deserts, snowy lands, a volcano, underground mazes, with so many other new features, such as getting to fly by your hat, turn invisible, and be completely encased in metal. Getting to surf on Koopa Troopa's shell and outrun him in races was pretty fun, admit it. lol Mario Kart 64 was I believe the second game in the Mario Kart series. The hardest part about playing Mario Kart 64 was trying to avoid the chain chomps on Rainbow Road, which is always a crowd pleaser, as well as Bowser's Castle. In Bowser's Castle, there aren't too many more things more fun and frustrating at the same time than trying to avoid the Thwomps who do everything in their power to disorient where you want to go, squash you, then to add insult to injury, crush you a couple more times, then get up slowly to let you pass and LAUGH AT YOU while doing it. So many 5th-8th place finishes because of them.. haha, frustrations. X_X Mario Tennis, what a cool game to start Mario and his friends on the Tennis Court. This game featured Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Peach, Daisy, Baby Mario, Toad, Yoshi, Birdo, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Koopa Paratroopa, Boo, Donkey Kong, Jr., Shy Guy, and Your players on the N64 Transfer Pak that you got with either "Select Nintendo Games" or separately. :) The fun part of playing Mario Tennis was unlocking all of the sweeet tennis courts and the unlikeliness and the unexpectability of the Bowser Court which teetered and tottered over lava (in my opinion, tomato sauce) and had item boxes as made famous in the Mario kart series. Trying to hit tennis balls while avoiding being hit by Koopa shells is fun to watch the opponents or opposing team do, but it's not fun at all to try to do yourself. In this game, and I believe other games to appear after this one, you had the option of either playing 2-game-sets or 6-game-sets and you could play 1, 3, or 5 sets. This game also featured ring shot challenges by passcode, and other competitions you could play on the game. In all, this game was a big deal at the time of coming out and it was tons of fun.
Just a DISCLAIMER, I am not affiliated with any of the games mentioned above or with any of the companies mentioned above. I am in no way involved with any of these games and am just a fan of the games and systems and companies mentioned in the blog above and nothing more. All of the opinions stated above are my own and no one else's.
More to come. No way I want to spill all of the faves on one blog. See you all later, thank you for reading  and MAY GOD BLESS. :)
